San Telmo is the most bohemian neighborhood of Buenos Aires where you can find the real Argentinean culture with tango dancing in the streets, traditional eateries, and many antique stores.

Recoleta is since decades the most prestigious neighborhood of Buenos Aires. Its old buildings are a representation of European architecture from the last century and it is known for its fine restaurants and famous cemetery.

Palermo is the trendy upcoming neighborhood with the hippest restaurants and bars, its many designer and vintage shops and grand green parks.

The first stop of your Patagonia trip is Puerto Madryn. Puerto Madryn has a picturesque location on the bay ´Golfo Nuevo´, with a nice beach, a walking promenade and numerous restaurants and small shops. It is the gateway to Península Valdés.

Península Valdés is a spectacular nature reserve which is ranked on the UNESCO world heritage list and offers an overwhelming variety of animal life. Besides the chance (depending the season) to see penguins, whales, sea lions, seals and orcas, the nature reserve is also home to ´mara´s (Patagonian hare), ´choiques´ (family of the ostrich) and ´guanacos´ (a small lama).

You can visit Peninsula Valdés, declared a Natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO. On the Peninsula you can find an incredible variety of terrestrial and marine fauna. You will visit places like the Center of Interpretation Istmo Ameghino, the Island of the birds, the colony of sea lions in Punta Pirámides, the tourist village of Puerto Pirámides, where you have the option to go Whale Watching (from June to December), the Small and Large Salt lakes, the colonies of sea elephants in Punta Delgada, Caleta Valdés and Punta Cantor, visiting the Lighthouse of Punta Norte in the season of killer whales. On the way, you will have the possibility to see a lot of terrestrial fauna: lamas, guanacos, Patagonian hares, grey foxes, Patagonian piche or armadillos and rheas. Ushuaia is located on Tierra del Fuego (Land of Fire). The name was given by the Spanish, who from their ships, saw a constant smoke veil above the island, which came from fires made by the original inhabitants of the island. Ushuaia was founded about one hundred years ago as a penal colony for Argentinean criminals. It is located between the Andes Mountains and the Beagle Channel, in a beautiful natural area. Surrounded by sea, forests, lakes and mountains, Ushuaia is a city with an important tourist infrastructure, elegant commercial center and a lot of cultural activities.

El Calafate is beautifully situated on the Patagonian altiplano, just along the azure Lago Argentino. It was named after a typical bush of the area, known by its delicious fruits and its horned branches. The village, also known as the “Capital of the Glaciers”, is the starting point to visit Los Glaciares National Park, its forest, lakes and its best-known character: Perito Moreno Glacier. El Chaltén is situated on the northern margin of Lago Viedma, in the confluence of rivers De las Vueltas and Fitz Roy, in the National Reserve Zona Viedma in Los Glaciares National Park. This landscape combines the magic of glaciers, hidden lagoons, estancias, Lake Viedma, and the magnetic presence of mount Fitz Roy. The summit of its unmistakable majestic silhouette is almost always covered in a cloud that the Tehuelche Indians thought was smoke, a mistake that gave origin to the name ´Chaltén´, which means volcano. El Chaltén is contiguous to Lake Viedma and its reserve and has been declared National Hiking Capital for the variety of activities performed by hikers and climbers. Most outings start in town, and it is not necessary to be an expert to follow the circuits if you walk on a current trail. The granitic towers of the Torre and Fitz Roy mountains compose spectacular panorama together with glaciers Viedma, Upsala and Moyano, which drain into Lago Viedma.

Ever beautiful San Carlos de Bariloche, lying on the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi and surrounded by mountains and forests, is one of the most attractive cities in the world and, of course, in Argentina. During the winter season Bariloche is a very important winter sport destination, which is explicit characterized by the real Alp architecture which you can find throughout the city. The first snowfalls announce the beginning of the ski season and the practice of winter sports at mythical Mount Catedral, considered one of the most important ski resorts in the country. Beside winter sport, the beautiful surroundings of Bariloche offer great possibilities for many activities, like hiking, river rafting, walks around ancient forests, trout and salmon fly-fishing, horseback riding, climbing and canoeing. Sustainable tourism is very important in this area, which is expressed by the fantastic beauty of the natural environment.

You will drive up north towards Villa La Angostura, situated in the midst of the Patagonian mountain range, lakes, rivers and a century old forest. Here you are one with nature. The Myrtle forest, absolutely worth visiting, you can visit by bike, foot or catamaran on the waters of the immense Nahuel Huapi Lake. Sport fishing is a popular activity here and the beautiful surroundings of the mountains, forest and beaches change its colours according the seasons

Located on the shores of Lake Lácar, within the Lanín National Park, San Martín de los Andes is a paradise of peace and quietness, immersed in an environment of rivers, waterfalls, mounts and magical forests. Originally a military settlement, today this typical mountain village dazzles visitors with its particular buildings, raised in wood and stone, which provide its characteristic warmth and charm. In the winter, activities revolve around the Chapelco winter resort, one of the most attractive in Patagonia, located a few kilometres from the city centre.
