This landscape combines the magic of glaciers, hidden lagoons, estancias, Lake Viedma, and the magnetic presence of mount Fitz Roy. The summit of its unmistakable majestic silhouette is almost always covered in a cloud that the Tehuelche Indians thought was smoke, a mistake that gave origin to the name ´Chaltén´, which means volcano. Most outings start in town, and it is not necessary to be an expert to follow the circuits if you walk on a current trail. Breathtakingly beautiful Patagonia. We were warmly welcomed at all hotels and tours. We had the opportunity to get to know the real local life. Argentinian Patagonia was a fantastic tour. New World did to choose the right places for us. Big compliment to Mara. Gracias!
A trip through Patagonia was one of our dreams. On the advice of friends we booked our trip at New World. The freedom of choice and adaptation to your wishes is fantastic. We finally opted for a 25-day tour with excursions included. Never regretted our choice. During the trip we were unlucky with a flight due to a strike. Sjors helped us so that we could continue our tour without any problems.
